Bonchon Franchise LLC, its parent, Bonchon U.S.A Inc. and the direct and indirect respective indirect affiliates and subsidiaries of each, (collectively, hereinafter referred to as either, “Bonchon”, “We”, “Us” or “Our”) issue this Policy Statement. When We mention “We”, We are referring to the relevant Bonchon company that processes your personal information. Your personal information may also be collected and used by Bonchon’s franchisees. It is important to understand that these franchised restaurants are independently owned and operated. Since Bonchon franchised restaurants are not owned or controlled by Bonchon, their use of your personal information will be governed by their own privacy policies and practices, and not by our privacy practices or this Privacy Statement. As such, if a franchisee misuses the personal information that it collects through its individual website, that franchisee (and not Bonchon) will be liable for such misuse. Your sole remedy in such event would be to pursue action against the franchisee (and not Bonchon).
Additionally, We may offer links to third party websites that are not operated by Bonchon. If you visit one of these linked websites, you should review their privacy policy, terms and conditions, and their other policies. We are not responsible for the policies and practices of other companies. Any information you submit to those companies is subject to their privacy policy, terms and conditions and other policies.
THE INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
Generally, you may browse Our Sites without registering and providing personal information. However, if you decide to use any of the features on our Sites, then you will need to provide certain personal information.

For example, you may provide Us with your personal information when you place an order; apply for a job; refer a potential employee; submit a site for a potential restaurant to Us online; register for an account; sign up for our mailing list by joining Our Crunch Club; register to participate in Our SMS/ text message marketing program; purchase a Bonchon gift card; participate in a survey, contest or sweepstakes; redeem a promotion; apply to become a Bonchon franchisee; or use some other feature of our Sites.

Contact and Demographic Information. We may collect personal information, such as your name, phone number, postal address, gender, age, postal/zip code, birthday, and e-mail address, when you register for our Sites, place an order for delivery, sign up for our mailing list by joining our Crunch Club, subscribe to our SMS/text message marketing program, redeem or participate in a promotion, enter a contest or sweepstakes, purchase or redeem a gift card, or otherwise communicate or interact with us. We use this information to create, verify and personalize your account, to fulfill your requests and process your transactions, to communicate with you directly, and to send you marketing communications in accordance with your preferences.
Payment and Transaction Information. We may collect information such as items purchased, date and time of your transaction, amount purchased, whether you used a particular coupon or deal, and payment information (such as, your credit/debit card or gift card) and when you make an in-store or online purchase. We use this information to fulfill your orders, process your transactions and for Our advertising and marketing analytics.
Social Security, Criminal, Immigration Status and Financial Information. If you are interested in a franchise and would like to complete a franchise application online, then We will not only request your name, residential and email addresses and phone number but also your birthdate, social security number, immigration status, criminal history, and information regarding your assets and liabilities. We will use this information to evaluate your candidacy in determining if you meet our criteria for becoming a Bonchon franchisee.
Information Collected From Job Applicants. When you submit a job application through our Sites, we will collect certain personal information, including (without limitation), your name, phone number, address, gender, age, postal/zip code, e-mail address, social security number, employment history, educational background. We may also obtain information about you from your references or receive information from third-party employment sites or recruiters if you apply for a job through a third-party service. We will use this information to evaluate your candidacy for the position that you applied for.
Location Information. We may collect information about your location if you provide your address or postal zip code to Us. If you consent to Our mobile application having access to the location services on your device, then We and Our third-party providers may collect location data through GPS, Wi-Fi, wireless network triangulation or other similar methods. We may use your location information to provide personalized content and advertising to you, to enhance your shopping and dining experience, to allow you to view deals and products available to you based on your location, to assist Us with analytics such as foot traffic measurement, and to improve the effectiveness of Our websites, restaurants, mobile applications, merchandise, advertising, and customer service.
Information You Post and Information Provided By Social Networks. We may collect information that you post to Our social media pages, including, your comments, or any photos and videos that you may share from a mobile device. We may also receive information from various social media networks when you “Like” us on Facebook, or when you follow us or share content on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or other social media networks. We use this information to analyze and improve Our products and services to you and to enhance your overall Bonchon experience.
Information We Automatically Collect. We use cookies and other tracking technologies to automatically collect certain personal information (such as, your IP address, Internet service provider, device information, etc.) to remember you when you visit Our Sites and to track your activities and preferences while you are using Our Sites. We also share that information with Our social media, advertising and analytics partners who may combine such personal information with other information that you provided to them or that they collected from your use of their services.
